Organized by Danang Department of Culture – Sport – Tourism, Vietnam and with
the cooperation of International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events
(AIESM), Italia, now calling for artists to submit their proposals &
artworks in the discipline of Stone Sculpture, from 05 Nov 2012 to 05 Feb
2013. The Symposium will take place in Danang, Vietnam from 11 July 2013 to 7 August 2013 and totally select of 10 international artists and 10
Vietnamese artists to join the 03 week Symposium for creating artworks
on-site and outdoor displaying in one week the Festival.
The stipulated maximum dimension of artworks is 1m x1m x 2,5mH
and the material is stone (are white and gray granite) provided by the organizer.

The organizer will cover all traveling cost for participant artists
coming to Danang, Vietnam as well as the basic equipments, working material,
2 supporters for each artist. The selected Artist will be provided
accommodation and daily meals during their stay in Vietnam.
Commission for the participant artists (Final Round): $2,400
The symposium will also offer opportunities for stone sculpture
lovers and public to join in interesting along-sided activities in 3- day
–festival such as conferences, sculpture classes, tours, cultural programs,
cocktails.
