Clemson University's Art Department Well Represented in Greenwood's 2016 SC Festival of Flowers Juried Art Show


JURIED ART SHOW
The Arts Center of Greenwood will once again host the annual SC Festival of Flowers Juried Art Show, featuring contemporary artwork from artists all over South Carolina and portions of the Southeast. The exhibition will be on display June 1st – 25th, 2016 in the Main Gallery.


Reception & Awards Ceremony was Saturday, June 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Awards were presented, and Clemson's Art Department did exceptionally well:

Best of Show - Carly Drew (MFA alumna) with “There’s a Damn Turkey in the Target Parking Lot”
2nd Place - Kymberly Day (MFA candidate) with “Self-Portrait as a Smoker”
Merit Award - Tom Dimond (Professor Emeritus) with “Off the Grid”
Merit Award - Terry Jarrard-Dimond (MFA alumna) with “Tidal Pool”
Honorable Mention - Sydney Cross (Alumni Distinguished Professor) with “School”
Best of 3D - Carey Morton (MFA candidate) with “Paradox”

Arts Center Merit Award - Eugene Ellenberg (BFA alum) with “The Day They Came to Take You Away”
