CALL FOR ENTRIES: 2016 National Small Oil Painting Exhibition, Wichita Center for the Arts


Deadline: June 15, 2016 – Wichita Center for the Arts announces a call for entries for it’s upcoming 2016 National Small Oil Painting Exhibition, to be on  display August 26 thru September, 2016. This exhibit is open to all artists living and working in North America. Each entry must be an original oil painting.

AWARDS
$3,000 in cash awards.Purchase awards are anticipated.

JUROR
Michael Onken is associate professor emeritus of painting and drawing at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He retired in 2002 after teaching for 34 years in the School of Art and Design. An exhibition of his work is currently on display through May 1 at the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Onken earned a Master of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University in 1966

ENTRY FEE
$30 for 3 entries.

SALES
All artwork included in the exhibition must be for sale. A 40% commission is charged on all sales.
