The Dogwood Regional Fine Art Exhibit was developed to showcase the finest artists of our region. Artists from within a radius of 300 miles of Knoxville and throughout the state of Tennessee may enter. Fine art encompassing all styles and genres from both emerging and established artists will be selected by juror, Mark Scala, for exhibition. This years juror, Mark Scala, is the founding chief curator at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cash awards totaling $4,100 will be presented at the exhibit’s opening
reception on April 3rd at the Emporium from 5-9 pm. Best in Show $2,000, 2nd Place $1,000, Third Place $500, two $250 Merit awards and one $100 award from Fast Frame. The 2015 exhibition location will be both upper and lower galleries in the beautiful Emporium Center at 100 S. Gay Street, Knoxville’s downtown arts anchor location. The exhibit will be on display from April 3 through April 25, 2015.

Online Entry Procedure:
The non-refundable entry fee for the EARLY BIRD DEALINE is $35.00 ($30.00 students)per application (you may submit up to three works per application). The Early Bird Deadline is Friday, January 16, 2015.
All submissions received between January 17th & 21st require a $40 entry fee ($35 for students). Two images may be submitted for each 3-D piece submitted on the application. All work must be in jpg form. The file name should be as follows: Entry form number: (1,2, or 3) _title of work. Example: 1_BigPainting.jpg. The file size should be 300 dpi, and as close to 1 MB or less. The widest side should not exceed 2,000 pixels.
