1. The 10th Annual Sculpture Visions Exhibition - Chapel Hill, NC
DESCRIPTION: The Town of Chapel Hill’s Public and Cultural Arts Office, a Division of the Parks & Recreation Department, invites artists to apply for the 10th Annual Sculpture Visions Exhibition. Between July 2013 and June 2014 original three-dimensional artwork by selected artists will be displayed in publicly-accessible outdoor spaces belonging to the Town of Chapel Hill and other participating sponsors. Selected artists will receive a $1,500 honorarium for the exhibition of their work
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists creating original three-dimensional artwork of a scale and material suitable for outdoor display. North Carolina artists are encouraged to apply. Participating artists must carry liability insurance.

DESCRIPTION: Since 2009, University Mall and The Chapel Hill Public and Cultural Arts Office have invited artists, architects, design professionals and teams to submit letters of interest and images for its Annual Scrapel Hill Competition & Exhibit, a juried competition and exhibition focused on artwork created from discarded materials. 3. The Chapel Hill Library Inaugural Exhibition - Chapel Hill, NC
DESCRIPTION: The Chapel Hill Public and Cultural Arts Office invites North Carolina artists to submit up to three artworks for a group exhibition celebrating the opening of the newly renovated Chapel Hill Public Library. Selected artworks will have a theme or employ media related to books, literature, stories, printed material, words, information or other library-related ideas. Selected two-dimensional artwork will be displayed in the Library’s new lower level entry hall during April, May and June of 2013.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all North Carolina artists creating original two-dimensional artwork that can be hung indoors.

4. 7th Annual Sculpture Walk Exhibition - Kingsport, TN
The City of Kingsport is seeking artwork for the Seventh (7th) Annual Sculpture Walk Exhibition in Kingsport, Tennessee. Dates for the Exhibition are May 2013 through April 2014. Works can be in any media, must be suitable for outdoors and may be functional or non-functional, temporary in nature or permanent.
The temporary exhibit will be located in the heart of downtown Kingsport on Main and Broad Streets. A citizen-led effort has enabled the City of Kingsport to acquire eight sculptures in the past six years for its permanent public art collection. Annually a full color brochure is produced and distributed as well as a digital video.
