The Evanston Art Center invites sculptors to participate in Sculpture on the Grounds. The art center will provide a budget of $5,000–$10,000 to cover the artist’s honorarium and the costs of creating, installing, and de-installing the work. Sculptures must be created specifically for the location; pre-existing pieces will not be considered. Artists are encouraged to view past projects on the Web site and visit the grounds before applying. Interested artists should submit an application form, résumé, 10–20 images of past work (including images on CD or a Web site link), and an SASE for the return of materials. Finalists will be asked to create a maquette and provide additional information related to their proposals.
