In the first edition of the International Exlibris
Competition, held in 2014 in Varna, participated 218 artists from 36 countries
from all around the World. For this edition a special web site with personal
pages of the participants was created and print catalogues with the selected
works of the competition was released.

International Exlibris Competition Varna
About The Competition
From August 18 to September 28, 2016 in Varna will be held
the second edition of the International Exlibris Competition Varna. The
event is organized by Largo Art
Gallery.
The International Exlibris Competition Varna is open
for artists from all over the world, without limitation of education and
occupation, aged 16 years or more, who accept its rules. There is no fee for
participation. There are no restrictions as to the themes or
techniques used.
Participants are allowed to send at most 5 different
bookplates, dated in the period 2014-2016. It is obligatory that three
signed copies of each print are submitted. The art works will not be
returned and will remain in the graphic collection of the organizer Largo Art
Gallery.
The deadline for sending of the works is 10 July 2016.
A Jury will select the works to be exhibited. The names of
the accepted artists will be published on the website of the competition.
The entries, once accepted by the Jury, will be presented in the website and
Facebook page of the Competition and will be displayed in the exhibition halls
of Largo Gallery in August 2016. The exhibition in Largo Gallery will
last from 18 August till 28 September and will be open to the public
daily from 11.00 to 18.30 h.
A movie for the exhibition and the opening ceremony will be
created and will be available on the You Tube
channel of the Largo Gallery.
