Drawings from the Persistent is a sampling of Greenville Technical College's Visual and Performing Arts alumni and current students who express their unique themes and narratives primarily through drawing. Incorporating many tools and techniques, they explore the personal with a complexity of marks, forms, images, layers, and scale. The persistence, skill, and work ethic of all these artists reflect the qualities of their teacher and mentor, Linda McCune. Linda has taught drawing and foundations to hundreds of students over the course of a couple of decades at Greenville Technical College. McCune, herself a nationally recognized artist, exhibits throughout the US, and her drawings and sculptures are in numerous notable collections.
