artists around the world will finally be selected to create their own
artworks for 2013 International Outdoor Sculpture Festival in Taiwan.
Each selected artist will cooperate with local residents, students, and
volunteers to complete a natural creation associated with the theme of
“Seed & Life”.

- Selected Artists’ Stay Period: 2013/Aug/29 (Arrive in Taiwan) - 2013/Sep/16 (Depart from Taiwan)

- Sculpture Display Period: 2013/Sep/15 - 2013/Dec/31
Restriction: Strictly prohibit making any damage on or into all walls. Please do not use materials that cause allergy easily such as pollen or fur.
Support for Each Selected Artist: NTD$ 60,000 (approximate USD 2,000/1.545eu) to covering every costs of the artwork, 18-day accommodation:From August 29, 2013 to September 16, 2013, each artist will stay in a single room with individual bathroom. For additional accompanists, extra supplements of bed and meal will be charged by the hotel accordingly.
A round-trip airfare of economic class for each
selected foreign artist from the Country of the artist to Taiwan and
one-way shuttle bus service from the Airport to the hotel on the arrival
day.
The Festival aids, local volunteers and high school students will be assigned to each artist to make the creations.
Qualifications: Candidates who intend to submit their proposals should have some experiences in working with local residents, volunteers, or junior high school students. While working to complete their art works, the artists will be able to spark interest of the general public to participate in the process of such artistic creation.

Candidates should also be keen on the relationship between nature, human culture, and environment.
The selected artists are required to have basic English conversation skills and the ability to mingle with other artists, local residents, school teachers and students.
Guidelines and Directions:
The selected artists will be working outdoors in the designated areas
They are limited to use only natural or recycled materials that are environmentally friendly, ensuring that in the process of art creation, the environment will not be compromised.
Safety must be considered as priority all the time.
