studio artist’s career has its own set of ups and downs. Some are
predictable, others are unexpected. We’re here to ensure that your
career is able to sustain both.
We envision a future where
working artists thrive and have a safety net of resources and support to
protect and sustain their livelihood, studio and art.
CERF+ was started by artists
for artists in the craft community as a grassroots mutual aid effort in
1985. CERF+ has since emerged as the leading nonprofit organization
that uniquely focuses on safeguarding artists’ livelihoods nationwide.
CERF+ is readiness, relief and resilience for studio artists, ensuring that they are as protected as the work they create.
