April 1 DEADLINE to apply for Frogman's Print Workshop Design Scholarship

The deadline to apply for Frogman's Design Scholarship is only three weeks away (April 1st)!  The winner of the Design Scholarship receives a free workshop and their design will be featured on Frogman's commemorative 36th anniversary t-shirts and aprons.  Designs may be submitted any time between now and April 1st.  Last year we simplified the application process and designs may now be submitted via DropBox.

For more information please go to http://www.frogmans.net/Workshop.htm.

Frogman’s exhibitions are an integral part of the workshop and we have begun highlighting them on Facebook.  We are about halfway through announcing our 2017 exhibitions and will continue to announce a new exhibition every day.  These events (exhibitions) are public so feel free to share and invite guests.

Frogman’s is now actively posting on Instagram.  Follow us @frogmansprintworkshops.  Keep us posted on what you’re up to and share your fondest memories of Frogman’s at #frogmansflashback.

We’d like to extend a very special thank you to this year’s assistant archivists; Aunna Escobedo Wickham, Luke Johnson, Emily Moyer, Zeinab Saab, Libby Scobee, and Lauren Stern!  It was our largest group of archiving assistants yet, and we made tremendous progress.  In exchange for their help, they will each be attending this summer’s workshop.  If you or one of your colleagues would like to help archive the collection next year, please contact me at jeremy@frogmans.net or at (605) 310-6548.

If you’re going to be in Atlanta next week for SGCI, look us up!  Howard Paine, Bonnie O’Connell, and Amy Haney from the University of Nebraska at Omaha will have a booth at the conference and they’ll be joined by many of Frogman’s 2017 faculty and assistants.

Safe travels and happy printing!
