Dr. Beth Lauritis "Art exhibition as discourse: Lucy Lippard’s politics of visibility."


The RCID RF is scheduled for April 23rd, on Monday, at 9AM until 10, in the Class of 1941 Studio for Student Communication, Daniel Hall, Clemson University (in the back seminar room).

Our 30th speaker on research is Beth Anne Lauritis, Department of Art [Ph.D., University of California Los Angeles; B.A., University of California, Los Angeles]. The title of her presentation is "Art exhibition as discourse: Lucy Lippard’s
politics of visibility."

Dr. Lauritis will speak for 25 minutes on her research and then we will engage in a Q&A.

A light breakfast will be served: Coffee, Tea, Bagels-Muffins, Fruit, Yogurt, etc.

We invite all to stay for the colloquium on Theory-Criticism, which begins at 10:30AM until 11:30.
