Benini Sculpture Ranch, Johnson City, TX

The Benini Sculpture Ranch accepts submissions for display on the ranch, which features 120 large-scale sculptures by contemporary artists from the U.S. and abroad in a natural Hill Country setting. The ranch is open Thursday through Sunday 10–6 and is located between Johnson City and Fredericksburg, an hour from Austin and San Antonio. The project began as a study center for Benini’s works, displayed along with work by visiting Italian artists in the studio building galleries. The ranch now features work on the surrounding 140 acres. It is a non-competitive environment, emphasizing cooperation between the project and the artists. Sculptures will be for sale. Sculptures should be at least 10–12 ft. in height or width and durable enough to withstand powerful winds. Interested artists should review the Web site and send photos and information by e-mail to lorraine@sculptureranch.com.
